In the continuing story of opera’s advance into the (posher) multiplexes, yesterday’s English Independent excitedly reports that a season of opera and ballet from London’s Royal Opera House is to be screened live at cinemas in Britain and across Europe.  I’m not holding my breath, but wouldn’t it be nice if this included Ireland…  Hello, Light House?
